Welcome to our Regions
We are excited to share with you events that are reported by our Regional Couples on this page. This will include any gatherings, zoom meetings, and celebrations that a Region is running. It is also a brilliant way of advertising any Regional expansion activities; and particularly to welcome new members and Teams to our Teams GB family.
Northern Region
The Next Northern Regional Gathering will be on 21st October 2023.
Our soon to be Regional Couple, Joanne and David want to ensure that all you Northern Region Members mark this date in your diaries. We will be meeting at the beautiful St. Mary’s Church, Ladyewell House, Ladyewell The Shrine, and grounds in Fernyhalgh, Preston.
Fernyhalgh is a peaceful and charming location, nestled in ancient woodland just 4 miles away from Preston city centre. It’s conveniently close to the M6, hopefully making it accessible for most of us.
We will share more details about the day’s agenda closer to the event, but we are pleased to say that we have secured an excellent speaker, who we are confident you’ll thoroughly enjoy.

Teams Birthday Celebration
Dear Friends in Teams GB Central Region
We are pleased to announce to you that our Region’s newest Team based in Cambridge have succeeded in arranging a Teams Birthday Celebration to take place at 16:30 on Sunday afternoon, 10-Dec-2023 (Second Sunday of Advent) at Our Lady of The Assumption and The English Martyrs RC Church, Hills Road, Cambridge CB2 1JR.
You are all warmly invited, and we hope as many of you as possible will plan to travel for this occasion.
We will send you more details as they take shape, including the possibility to join via livestream.

Southern Region
Dear Friends in Teams in the Southern Region,
We hope that you have had a good summer and enjoyed last week’s sunshine, although we are pleased that the heat is now abating.
September, “the beginning of term”, always feels like a time for renewal and a time to focus on the coming autumn.
Marriage Catechists’ Day – Saturday 18 Nov 11.00am – 3.30pm. at The St Philip Howard Centre, Crawley, RH10 6RP
We have been asked to bring to your attention this invitation to Teams in the A&B Diocese from the Diocesan Marriage and Family Life Adviser.
She says, “I know your passion for marriage. I would like to invite you to join me on 18th November, exploring how we can improve the support we give engaged couples within our parishes. This would not mean becoming catechists/ running courses/ delivering material or taking on onerous tasks, rather it would be about you, as couples, reflecting on your own experience. The day will focus on how we live out our Baptismal vocation as married couples, and the gifts you have to offer, but will not commit you to anything. However, in the light the experience, you might feel able to support in friendship, a couple from your own parish, as they journey towards their wedding day. We will be exploring different ways that might happen and what could be possible.
Do come and join us, enjoy the opportunity to reflect on the joy within your own marriage, to meet with others who love being married, be inspired by Bishop Richard’s vision of parishes in which we all are welcomed and belong.”
