A Re-Gathering of Teams of Our Lady in GB

Where:-

Hayes Christian Conference Centre, Swanwick, Derbyshire, DE55 1AU.

When:-

Evening of Friday, 21 April 2023 to Afternoon of Sunday, 23 April 2023.

The Hayes Centre is an excellent conference centre providing very comfortable well equipped bedrooms and delicious food and drink.  The cost of attending covers all meals and non-alcoholic drinks.  A warm Teams welcome awaits you, particularly if you have never been to a Gathering before.

Theme – New Wine, Fresh Skins

Its theme “New Wine, Fresh Skins!” blends diverse inspirations and aspirations under 4 R’s:

Re-Gathering –

To convene the first significant in-person Teams conference across any of the 3 GB Regions since the Teams GB 60th Anniversary celebration of November 2019 (before Covid lockdown).

Refreshing –

To relax and reflect in pleasant surroundings, reconnecting with old friends and making new friends.

Renewing –

To tap into Mary’s spiritual joy that coloured her whole outlook, stirring her to exclaim “My soul magnifies the Lord!” and to feel compassionately about those fraught and overwrought around her “They have no wine”.

Revitalising –

To sketch a way forward from Covid wilderness toward the future of Teams GB, tackling organisational vulnerabilities, and shaping as a vibrant pastoral offering within a synodal Church.

We heartily urge as many as possible to book and help build the future of Teams GB at next April’s “Re-Gathering”.

Cost

The cost per individual for the whole weekend is £190; for couples a total cost of £380.  If you would like to attend but are concerned about the cost, please do not be embarrassed about getting in touch (any enquiries will be treated confidentially).  Complete the booking form and indicate this on the form.

Children are welcome and will not be charged.  There will be a separate children’s programme.

Chaplains and Spiritual Counsellors will not be charged but are invited to make a donation towards cost if possible (by Bank Transfer or Cheque).
